Lemon Bee Balm, or Lemon Mint
This is a native plant to the United States, with edible flowers and leaves. The leaves are strikingly spicy. This plant is great for attracting beneficial insects to the garden.
Cilantro - Calypso
Excellent flavor and value, may be trimmed many times. Best in slightly cooler climates, will bolt more quickly in extreme heat. Seeds will form after the flowers and may be dried. Cilantro seeds are the spice coriander.
Deep Purple - Bunching Onion
Very similar to our other offering in terms of size and growth rate, stands out for its bright purple bulb. Tops may be harvested repeatedly.
Catnip
Strong plants, favorites of cats. Bees love the flowers and can pollinate plants nearby.

Italian Basil
****NOTE: Grows well when temperature stays consistently above 50 degrees at night. Suitable for indoor growing.Wonderfully aromatic, both leaves and flowers provide a strong scent. Pinch flowers as they form to promote more leaf growth. Large, robust leaves on plants which reach several feet tall. Stalks become woody after several months. Harvest either leaf by leaf, or cut back a few inches above base and the plant will regrow.

Scarlet Kale
Delicious, slower growing than green kales, but well worth it! The sweetest of all our kales with beautiful, deep purple leaves. Prefers the cooler weather of fall through early spring.

Quick start, peas begin shoeing in less than two months. Pea and pods are edible, the pod itself is slightly sweet. Wil naturally climb if given the opportunity.

Gorgeous red cabbage, some may form in a more pointed shape than others. 2.5 months until ready.
Kohlrabi
Quick to grow, 1.5 months! Beautiful specimen. As the bulb grows, gently pull the plant slightly out of the tower so the bulb forms outside. This is similar to celery, fennel, and beets.
Kalette (New!)
One of our newest items for the fall/winter: Kalettes are a cross between Brussels sprouts and kale, forming open florets in place of traditional Brussels sprouts. Three possible colors: green, purple, and a combo.
140 days to harvest from seed, quicker as a seedling. Plants can get several feet tall.

Head will forms within 1-2 months. Best to cut entire head once formed. Crisp flavor, sweet, best in slightly cooler weather, though it can withstand the warmer temperatures of spring and early summer.

Delicious leaves, pairs well with green romaine. Leaves up to 8", hearty, great for salads and wraps.

Beet Greens - Early Wonder Tall Top
In a tower garden, it is best to place at the top to make removal easiest if the roots become too large. Simply remove the shower cap and the net pot can be dislodged.
Swiss Chard Bright Lights Rainbow Chard
Slightly bitter leaves, savory stems, always gorgeous. Terrific for cooking or eating raw. Use in salads, stir fry, wraps, etc.

Dusty, green leaves are used in dressing, sauces, salted herbs, sausage, and tea. Make a good base for dried floral wreaths. Also known as garden sage. Perennial in Zones 4-8.
• Edible Flowers: Edible, lovely, small lavender flowers appear in early summer with a mild and sage-like flavor. Flower spikes can be battered and fried, cooked in rice, egg, or cheese dishes, or used to garnish salads and pizza.

Sometimes known as summer celery, an alternative to slow growing celery. This plant has a distinct salty taste and grows quickly, capable of being cut and regrowing. Similar in growth habit to parsley.
Thyme
Excellent flavor, widely used seasoning. Decent growth rate compared with most herbs, which are typically slow.
Oregano
Wonderful scent, makes a strong impact on any dish. May be used fresh or dried.
Dill
Strong flavor, perfect for adding to a meal or salad. Will reach upwards of 15". May be cut back multiple times. A classic.
Fennel
A colossal winner, this fennel grows quickly and will be around for months. The bulb may be picked from the outside, continuing to form from the middle. A natural licorice flavor, used for both frill and bulb.
Curly Parsley
Will grow up to 12" and may be cut back to regrow several times. Distinctly curled leaves, striking. An outstanding addition.

Also known as Hearts-Ease. 1-2" tricolor flowers in purple, yellow, and white. May reseed. Also known as pansy, Johnny jump-up, and European field pansy. Perennial in Zones 4-9.
• Edible Flowers: Abundant blooms make dainty garnishes for salads and desserts with slight wintergreen flavor. While a popular choice for brightening up salad mix, the flowers are also good for candying.
